SheMag : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers?
M.L.Rucscsak :
Hello, I am M.L.Rucscsak author of the “Lite and Darke” Series , and host of dove and dragon radio.

SheMag : Who or what inspired you to get into writing?
M.L.Rucscsak :
I have always had a passion for writing. Form little stories and poetry in school to later writing fan fiction. But it wasn’t until being challenged to get something published that I ever took writing seriously.

SheMag : From medical issues to a divorce you gone through hard times, how did you cope with such situations?
M.L.Rucscsak :
Both with medical and my divorce were long periods of “why me” followed by “I’m here for a reason.” In both cases I entered depression. Really who wouldn’t? The life you had is now turned upside down and you have to start over. However, when starting over you can get rid of everything holding you back. Get rid of the toxic people that tell you that you can’t do something, and do what your heart says that you can.

SheMag : Tell us about your writing style?
M.L.Rucscsak : Style? LOL, what is that? Ok, so as a typical creative mind, I have no less than 10 works in progress going at any given time. These can be things that I intend to publish to fan factions that I just have to wright. As far as how I word things? It depends on how the character wants to become out.

SheMag : You recently published/ wrote any book?
M.L.Rucscsak :
My new release “The Secret of the Sword” book one of “The Obsidian Chronicles” will be released May 4th, 2021 . However, I am re-writing “The Silent Wars” which concludes the “Lite and Darke” Series.

SheMag : You are also running a publishing house. Our readers would like to know more about that?
M.L.Rucscsak :
Running a company is hard work and for the most part thankless. Everyone see the finished product, the books from my amazing authors. But few see the countless hours of spreadsheets, endless phone calls and presentations that go behind each book. We assume it’s as easy as looking up DIY publishing places, uploading a book and a cover and be done with it. And that works don’t get me wrong. However, there is a ton of back office things that most people never think of. Yet I would not give it up for anything.

SheMag : What was the inspiration behind opening your own press Trient Press?
M.L.Rucscsak :
In 2018 another author and I discussed it because how hard could it be? So I opened my desktop press with a few authors. Was able to do a little bit of things with it, but it wasn’t working right. Not failing but wasn’t the vision that I wanted.

So with help of an industry professional we started to pick a part my company. And we created a working partnership which has evolved from a desktop publisher to a traditional publishing house.

SheMag : Any thing else you would like to share with our readers?
M.L.Rucscsak :
You are never too old or too young to do something you are passionate about. But please keep in mind nothing happens overnight. For every overnight success that we see are years of hard work behind that person.
